A local artist currently based in South Africa Shadreck Chisale has said reduced cost of music recording in the country could help promote upcoming artists in the music industry.

Speaking in an interview after briefing journalists in Mponela-Dowa, Chisale observed that most upcoming musicians in the country has the talent but their hopes to make it big in the music industry is being dwarfed by inadequate financial resources.Zeze Kingston launches ‘Money Making Music’ Company

He said: “Most upcoming musicians take time to have their songs recorded because most of them cannot manage to pay for studio work. This in turn slows the growth of music industry in the country.”

Chisale who has already procured studio equipment worthy over K20 million has since pledged to open up a studio in area-25, Lilongwe to help upcoming musicians record the songs at a rate they can afford to help expose their music talent.MultiChoice Malawi commits to deliver affordable entertainment to Malawians

The artist, Shadreck Chisale will soon release an album titled Dziko lawononongeka which has other songs such as Alikumanda ,Musandiweruze, Dalitsani dziko,Chikondi, Malume which have already started enjoying airplay on some local radio stations in the country.
