Global charity Organization, Mary’s Meals, is proclaiming that its school feeding programme has achieved massive pupil enrolment growth in Zomba district since 2018.

While the enrolment stood at around 1,000 in 2018, this year’s statistics show that the district has enrolled more than 2,000 pupils.

Mary’s Meals serves meals to at least 34 early childhood development centres in traditional authority Chikowi in the district.

Duncan Moyo who is the Programme Quality Assurance Manager for Mary’s Meals Malawi, says they have been able to provide school meals above 90 % of school planned days.
