Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Member of Parliament for Machinga South East Fyness Mangonjwa has said the party is geared to restore the economy once voted back into power in the 2025 polls.

“`Mangonjwa said this after a successful DPP rally held in Balaka where former first lady Gertrude Mutharika graced the rally.

“Yesterday the mighty DPP held a very successful political rally in Balaka. We are doing this for Malawians. We want to bring back the old better days.

“The former first lady mayi Getrude Mutharika was in attendance, so humble mum. GOD bless Malawi, GOD bless APM,” wrote Mangonjwa.

DPP is currently divided into two camps with Kondwani Nankhumwa heading the other camp.

While the other camp is of party leader Peter Mutharika.“`
