In what started as mere speculations that some people are going door -to -door in the central region districts campaigning by asking the registered voters who they are to vote for on the 16th September, 2025 elections.
The MCP strategy they are using is the same they used in 1993 going door-to-door in villages for people not to vote for a hurricane lamp which stood for change of government but instead vote for a Black Cock for the country to remain in peace.
Former president, the late Ngwazi Dr. Hastings Kamuzu Banda travelled in all districts of the country with a strong message that voting for multiparty politics and democracy, is voting for war and this made many villagers afraid of voting for a hurricane lamp.
Bakili Muluzi TV has claimed that MCP officials are in the area of Senior Chief Kaomba in Kasungu campaigning for President Chakwera so that he bounces back into government on the 16th September, 2025 promising the voters money as rewards for voting for Chakwera.
He has accused chiefs in the region that they have been vising the State House to dine with President Chakwera and at the end of the day, they were pocketing K80,000s as token of appreciations for rallying behind him and the MCP.
The Activist said chiefs had an opportunity to tell President Chakwera that billions of Kwachas he is spending on individuals could have gone a long way towards subsidizing prices of fertilizer to move from K140,000 per bag to president Chakwera’s quoted campaign price of K4,000 plus.
He has reminded President Chakwera that there were others like him who were printing money to woo registered voters to vote for them beside destroying their countries and leaving their people in abstract poverty, claiming that all these people have gone to eternal peace.
Bakili Muluzi TV said President Chakwera has adopted Robert Mugabe’s system of printing money at the central bank and distributing it to the voters for free questioning him that where else apart from Malawi, government is distributing free for all money to the citizens?
He said President Chakwera’s free for all K50,000s is speaking for itself that he is now panicking with election fever and he is doing everything possible to remain in government to run away from cases which will be piled in court including that of killing Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others, in the Chikangawa forest, if he loses the elections on the 16th September, 2025.
“Malawians are tired with the MCP ruling them, the party has failed to bring down prices of essential goods, killed Dr. Saulosi Chilima and panga wielding thugs terrorizing and hacking citizens,” said Bakili Muluzi TV.
He has finally told patriotic Malawians that the country is being driven by an inexperienced driver who don’t know what to do in government claiming that leadership requires experience urging them not to allow an inexperienced driver to drive the country from 16th September, 2025.
