The government of President Hakainde Hichilema has employed *30 496 teachers* at one goal and *11 400 health workers nurses, doctors and others* in 2022.
No government in the Southern Africa has done that.
Hakainde always says that he wants to be remembered as the greatest President.
Up to now he is refusing to get a salary.
Hichilema’s children and relatives were stopped from working for the government. The President said that such opportunities should be left for ordinary citizens.
His cabinet has a representation from all the ten provinces of Zambia.
All government officials who wanted to be driving expensive cars have been told to buy their own.
Zambia is now waiting for the recruitment of 5000+ soldiers before December this year.
More jobs for Zambians are coming on offer next year 2023. The President has promised to look into salaries. Already Zambians working in government are highly paid.
As for pension the Zambian President signed a document where you can access your pension before retirement. He is against the idea of working until you are old to get your money.

Which is true, I don’t know what the opposition will be saying during campaign time because the President is delivering.
Yes. Zambians are just praying that the President increases salaries. For the example the starting salary of a teacher from college is I think between ZK7000 and ZK7500 plus ZK10, 000 allowance which is equivalent to MWK472 500 without any allowance and up to MK630 000 with allowances.
About employment Hakainde has always told recruiting officers not to disadvantage others based on tribe or anything unless one is not qualified.
According to Hichilema, when you are Zambian and qualified for the job, you have to be given equal opportunity to get it.
He has been preaching Zambia for Zambians and Zambia first.
President Hakainde now wants to change the law to stop foreigners from buying land in Zambia saying land is for typical Zambians and foreigners should be renting from Zambians.
