Silver Strikers are through to this year’s semifinals of the Airtel Top 8 Cup after defeating Kamuzu Barracks 3-1 on aggregate to stay on course to win the Cup for the third time since its inception in 2017.
On Sunday, Patrick Macheso and Chawanangwa Kaonga scored for the Central Bankers to show the military side the exit door in the competition. Blue Eagles qualified for the next round of the competition after defeating Dedza Dynamos 3-2 on aggregate.

Nyasa Big Bullets will face Silver Strikers while Mighty Mukuru Wanderers will date Blue Eagles to complete the pair of teams that will compete for Airtel honors this year.
Silver Strikers won the inaugural Airtel Top 8 Cup in 2017, Blue Eagles claimed the trophy in 2018 and the Bankers clinched the silverware again in the 2019 edition.
