
Pre-Budget Consultations Take Off
The Minister of Finance Sosten Gwengwe says the next national budget will strive to reduce deficits that encourage domestic borrowing.
The Minister was speaking when he opened the first pre-budget consultations meeting for the 2023-2024 fiscal year which started with Blantyre.
Gwengwe said while acknowledging the financial challenges that have prevailed during the current budget, the government will ensure that the next budget is in line with the MW 2063.
