Various Career Women are set to take sometime off their daily routines to be treated to a ladies networking tea themed under the Bridgertone books and television series.
Organised by the CEO and founder of Battle Of Chefs Malawi, Mrs. Famida Daud Aly, the secret tea party is aimed at bringing communities together, providing training and education opportunities for culinary enthusiasts as well as creating a network to empower women.
“This event will bring together women from all walks of life, providing an opportunity to connect, empower one another, and support a meaningful cause by ensuring that young girls in need receive access to education, proper hygiene and mentorship ” Said Aly
“Bridgerton” is a historical romance series created by Chris Van Dusen for Netflix, based on Julia Quinn’s novels. Set in an alternate 1800s London Regency era, the show explores a society where racial equality exists due to Queen Charlotte’s African heritage.
The series follows the competitive social season, where young nobles and gentry are introduced into high society.
Among a few the event is set to be graced by Her Worship Esther Sagawa Mayor of Lilongwe City, Honorable Halima Daud several International dignitaries to Malawi on 19th October 2024.
