Leader and Founder of the Salvation for All Ministries International, Apostle Clifford Kawinga, has called on the public to avoid looking down on others based on their financial background, emphasizing that life circumstances can change.

Apostle Kawinga made these remarks on 22 October 2024 at Home of Hope Orphanage in Mchinji district, where he donated K25 million as part of his 43rd birthday celebrations. He also provided 100 bags of maize, 20 bags of beans, 10 bags of rice, 100 blankets, and 14 cartons of exercise books to the orphanage.

Apostle Kawinga also extended his generosity to 1,000 elderly individuals from surrounding villages, distributing relief items such as sugar, cooking oil, soap, and 2 kgs of rice to each.

In an interview with Nkhoma Synod Radio, Apostle Kawinga explained that he chose to celebrate his birthday at the orphanage to share God’s love with the children and the elderly, reiterating that God can transform lives, regardless of one’s background.

Reverend Thomson Chipeta, founder of Home of Hope Orphanage, expressed gratitude for Apostle Kawinga’s contributions. He noted that part of the funds would be used to purchase fertilizer for their maize farms, which play a crucial role in providing food for the children.

Home of Hope Orphanage, established in 1998, currently cares for 700 children aged between 1 and 20. It is also the orphanage where UK-based Malawian musician David Banda, popularly known as David Madonna, was raised before being adopted by Madonna in 2006.
