We need to be custodians of peace and love- Kaumphawi
Malawi Congress Party Shadow Member of Parliament for Linthipe Constituency continues to astonish all constituents with his inimitable leadership skills as on Friday, the creative and demonstrative joined the Islamic community in Mwenje village in Dedza as the brilliant young leader led Muslims at a grand opening of a mosque.
Kaumphawi stressed on the need of expressing love and care for others to stimulate a better society.
“Love is paramount. If we we are to create a better living space, we must demonstrate love at all times. Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) taught us to love everyone including our enemies.”
The pro-Chakwera diehard capitalised on the opportunity to encourage the assemblage to register in the ongoing Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) process.
“Let us all go and register. We all need to participate in the next year’s elections. We need good leaders,” said the leader.
Meanwhile, Islam leaders in the district have hailed Kaumphawi describing him as a visionary and proactive leader.
“To answer your question my brother, Kaumphawi is a leader. He is humble. He is selfless. It is of no wonder, he came to participate with us. His presence is not taken for granted. We are to elect him next year as our Member of Parliament,” responded one Sheikh.
