As the UTM Party convention countdown intensifies, delegates from Blantyre, Chikwawa, and Nsanje districts eagerly gathered on Friday to hear Dr. Mathews Mtumbuka’s vision for the party’s future.
The philanthropic politician’s manifesto left attendees beaming with satisfaction, convinced that he’s the ideal candidate to champion the UTM agenda.
Mtumbuka emphasized the need for robust leadership, built on perseverance, hard work, and dedication to UTM’s pillars for socioeconomic growth and development.
“We require a strong leadership with a solid foundation… to drive impactful change and foster growth,” Mtumbuka stressed.
In an exclusive interview, Mtumbuka expressed humility and energization from the overwhelming support across the country.
“Delegates pledge votes in large numbers, recognizing my similarities with Late Dr. Saulos Klaus Chilima,” he revealed.
Mtumbuka’s experience and history make him a close match to Chilima’s template, augers nicely with UTM supporters seeking meaningful change.
Today, Mtumbuka concludes his campaign with a final delegate meeting at Nchalo, having covered all nine UTM regions and met over 700 delegates.
With his campaign complete, Mtumbuka shifts focus to strategic reinforcement, cementing his position and support base ahead of the November 17 convention. The stage is set for an electrifying convention.
