Former Second Vice President of the Football Association of Malawi (FAM), Othaniel Hara, has died in a road accident at Mtwalo in Mzimba.
His brother, Franklin Hara, confirmed the news. He said that the late Othaniel Hara was returning from his village, Mpherembe when he met his fate.
Hara served as FAM’s Second Vice President for eight years under the leadership of Walter Nyamilandu Manda.
He died at the age of 58. His body is currently at Mzuzu Central Hospital Mortuary.
