
Moyale Barracks Volleyball Team emerged the winner of the K25 million Raiply National Volleyball Tournament

Moyale Barracks Volleyball Team has emerged the winner in the men category of the K25 million 2024 Raiply National Volleyball Tournament after defeating Blue Eagles Volleyball Team 3-0 in the final match held at Katoto Secondary School Sports Complex in Mzuzu.
Moyale booked the final slot yesterday after a hard fought 3-1 semi-final win over defending champions Wolves while Eagles defeated Lilongwe Spikers 3-2.
[penci_ads id=”penci_ads_1″]In an interview following the victory, Moyale Barracks coach Aubrey Mpeyama said they were very tactical and Blue Eagles failed to match them.
“It was great day, the boys displayed according to our tactical plan and Blue Eagles failed to match us. We are very happy,” he said.

Blue Eagles coach Rumbani Mkandawire simply said today was not their day.
In the ladies category, Vixens have won the title following a 3-1 victory over Blue Eagles.
The final was played in front of the guest of honour, Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) president Bouchra Hajij.
Prize presentation will take place this evening at Grand Palace Hotel.
