Police intervene in Mitondo primary school saga

A bizarre incident has unfolded at Mitondo Primary School in Chikwawa, where a headteacher has been accused of practicing satanism.

According to Deputy Police Spokesperson, Chance Mfune, the accusations led to a group of pupils attacking the headteacher, forcing the police to intervene.

The pupils alleged that the headteacher was behind a series of mysterious events at the school, including the discovery of strange artifacts and the disappearance of school property.

He said, the situation escalated when the pupils began to suspect that the headteacher was using satanism power to manipulate them.

“The police were called in to restore order and protect the headteacher, who was being threatened by the pupils.

“The police also helped the headteacher and his family to relocate to a safer location, Luvunzu Primary School,” he said.

This incident is not isolated, as similar events have been reported at other schools in the region, including Dzenje Primary School in Mulanje.

The police have urged the public to remain calm and to avoid taking the law into their own hands. The incident is being investigated, and the police will provide updates as more information becomes available.
