Fellow Malawians, the time has come for us to take charge of our destiny.
As the old proverb says, “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago; the second-best time is now.”
Today, iam humbly calling upon you all fellow citizens to plant the seeds of democracy that will one day blossom into genuine freedom and prosperity for all.
Our independence, won through sweat and sacrifice, was meant to bring dignity and opportunity. Yet, decades later, many of our people remain shackled by the chains of poverty.
Our fields of potential lie fallow, while our leaders reap what they did not sow.
This is not the freedom our forebears envisioned. “A bird does not sing because it has an answer; it sings because it has a song.” Malawians, our song is one of hope, change, and resilience.
The current leadership has failed to deliver on the campaign promises they made. Poverty deepens, inequality widens, and the cries of the struggling masses are met with silence.
It is said, “A house divided cannot stand,” and the cracks in the foundation of the MCP’s governance are too glaring to ignore chakwera and his Mcp they have failed the people and the country.
Comradely, I pledge to stand with you, not above you I will join the race of presidency come 2025.
I strongly believe that together, we can build a Malawi where every child has food on their plate, where opportunities abound, and where freedom is more than just a word. But for this vision to become a reality, you must take the first step: register to vote.
Voting is not just a right—it is your voice, your power, your weapon against oppression. “Even the smallest axe can fell the largest tree.” Your single vote can be the spark that ignites a revolution of hope.
Malawians, let us not grow weary. Let us sow seeds of democracy today, so that tomorrow, our children can harvest a future of prosperity and dignity. The time is now. Register to vote. Together, we will bring real change.
The group of few certain individuals trying to defeat democracy and using all tricks in the book to rigg this coming elections we are watching them and the world is watching.
The journey is long, but with unity and determination, we shall overcome. As the saying goes, “A river is made mighty by its tributaries.” You are the tributaries that will make Malawi mighty again.
The ballot awaits, and so does our destiny. Let us rise to the occasion and make history.
My pen is mightier than a Sword.
