Confirming the development, Nsanje Director of Health and Social Services, Gilbert Chapweteka, stated that the health centre was severely impacted by the floods, making it unsafe for continued operations. “Currently, patients are being referred to the nearest health centre in the district,” Chapweteka said, acknowledging the logistical challenges that come with the unexpected closure.
