Chirwa embarks on fundraising big walk in Lilongwe

Ras David Chikomeni Chirwa, an independent presidential aspirant, is holding a big walk in Lilongwe today to raise funds for his nomination fees. Chikomeni aims to collect K10 million, a significant increase from the K2 million required in 2019.

This fundraising effort is crucial for Chikomeni’s candidacy, as he was disqualified from the 2019 presidential election for failing to meet the necessary requirements, including paying the nomination fee.

Chikomeni’s campaign, dubbed “Jah Government 2025,” has been gaining momentum.

He has expressed dissatisfaction with the current government and believes his independent platform offers a fresh perspective and alternative leadership.

The Lilongwe City Council initially rejected Chikomeni’s request to hold the fundraising walk but later granted permission, allowing him to proceed with his plans.

Chikomeni’s determination to run for president in 2025 is evident, and his fundraising efforts demonstrate his commitment to his campaign.
