A South African Activist Mbuyiseni Ndlozi took advantage of the public lecture which was organized by Minister of Trade Engineer Vitumbiko Mumba at the Great Hall-Chancellor College in Zomba attacking Prophet Shephered Bushiri in his own soil.
Mbuyiseni Ndlozi asked Mumba to pass the house of Prophet Bushiri to tell him that there are questions by many people in South Africa for him to answer saying whether he is a Pastor or a politician one has no right to steal from the poor in the name of God and people.
The remarks by Mbuyiseni Ndlozi attracted hand clapping from the audience meaning that those who were following the public lecture sided with the activist that he was speaking nothing but the truth that one need not to steal from the poor.
“There is someone here in Malawi who is wanted in South Africa, he does not have the right to steal from the poor, and there are questions for him,” he said amid a loud of applause.
An independent Presidential aspirant Isaiah Emmanuel Sunganimoyo, has reacted angrily over the remarks made by a South African activist Mbuyiseni Ndlozi attacking Prophet Shephered Bushiri in his own country and among his people.
Sunganimoyo said there is no way Mbuyiseni Ndlozi can travel all the way from South Africa to Malawi invited by a politician to insult Prophet Shephered Bushiri and Prophetess Mary Bushiri in their own country describing this as stupid.
He has described those who invited the activist to come to Malawi and the hand clappers as greedy, selfish and haters claiming that they invited a stupid man to attack Prophet Bushiri in his own country after doing the same in his country.
The independent Presidential aspirant said the Bushiri family was treated as useless in the Republic of South Africa, they were attacked left and right not as human beings but as animals and someone was invited by a politician coming here to insult Bushiri in his own country, that’s nonsense.
He said it was sad to see Malawians clapping hands at a foreigner presenting stupid remarks against their fellow Malawian, Prophet Bushiri advising Malawians to have a duty and responsibility of protecting one of them from foreigner’s attack.
’’My duty and responsibility is to see that every citizen is protected, if a foreigner come to attack our fellow Malawian and we clap hands at his stupid remarks, this, then means that we are a sick nation,” said Sunganimoyo.
Media reports are indicating that Engineer Vitumbiko Mumba and the MCP initially invited a South African vocal activist Julius Malema to attend the public lecture in Zomba but he turned down the invitation on the argument that MCP officials in Malawi are responsible for the sufferings of innocent people.
“I will only visit Malawi if invited by officials from opposition parties,” Malema’s quoted words on the wall.
