PremierBet Malawi has made a bold statement in the continent’s gaming industry by launching its largest gaming centre in Africa, situated in Limbe, Blantyre.
The launch marks a significant milestone for the brand, as the new facility offers cutting-edge amenities designed to accommodate up to 100 self-serving customers at any given time.
This is a notable upgrade from the company’s smaller shops, which typically accommodate fewer than 10 customers at a time.
Speaking during the launch, PremierBet Malawi’s community manager Hamza Mgaye expressed excitement over the development and emphasized the company’s commitment to enhancing customer experience.
He noted that the new gaming hub will not only offer increased capacity but will also be more interactive and technologically advanced.
Adding to the centre’s attractions, PremierBet has also revived the popular Premier Loto draws, which will now be conducted live at the facility.

The move is expected to bring a sense of thrill and participation to both old and new patrons of the game.
Present at the event was Malawi Gaming and Lotteries Authority (Magla) operations director Lawrence Chikoko, who hailed the launch as a sign of the growing gaming industry in the country.
Chikoko, however, cautioned the public against irresponsible gambling, reminding players to exercise discipline and moderation.
“People should learn to budget their time and money before they come for gambling. They should gamble with their heads and not their wallets,” he advised.
Adding entertainment to the opening ceremony was PremierBet brand ambassador and celebrated Malawian musician Eli Njuchi, who lit up the stage with his hit songs including ‘Tempolale’ and ‘Gugugu.’
The centre is poised to become a hub of gaming excitement in Blantyre and a flagship venue for PremierBet’s operations across Africa.
