Jumbe urges Malawians to flood the courts with injunctions

By Vincent Gunde

A voice of the voiceless Comrade Alhaji Imraan Jumbe, has urged peaceful Malawians to flood the courts with injunctions, the streets with voices, filling every corner of the country with one sound that they will not be ruled by theft.

Comrade Jumbe says Malawi Electoral Commission (Mec) is like a goat that refuses to listen shephered’s voice, must meet the hyena observing that the wind is smelling betrayal, the ground is trembling with manipulation, and the air is heavy with lies from Mec.

He said the Mec has been warned and begged with reasons, it was approached with dignity, people have been saying be fair, be transparent, be honest, but their ears were filled with the gold of corrupt promises and their eyes blinded by party loyalty

Writing on his face book page, Comrade Jumbe, says this is not the time for conferences and podiums, this is the time for action and courage saying the signs are clear that MCP wants to twist the arm of the election, urging Malawians not to sleep.

Jumbe has urged Malawians that this the time to all rise up or forever hold their regrets reminding them that a man who fold his arms while his country is burning will never be forgiven by the future generations.

He says if MCP uses mafiesto laws as a hiding place, then the people must use their numbers as weapon of truth saying this country does not belong to President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera, it does not belong to Richard Chimwendo Banda, the land is soaked with the dreams of ancestors and the blood of martyrs.

“Let this be written in their winds, if they rig, we resist, if they silence, we sing louder, if they ignore us, we shut it down,” reads Jumbe’s writings on the wall.

Comrade Jumbe has called for a 5 million-man peaceful march, from Mzuzu to Mangochi, from Nsanje to Nkhatabay to shut down the nation –not in violence, but in unity saying this is the sweetness of democracy, a people refusing to be silenced.

He said time is now for Mec to hear the voices of the citizens and the world to witness that they are not rebels but they are guardians of their democracy that a goat that refuses to listen shephered’s voice must meet the hyena.

Meanwhile, a social media user, Mrs. Elizabeth Kaliza Banda of Area 51 in Lilongwe has described the Public Affairs Committee (PAC) all -inclusive conference which is being held in Blantyre as a waste of time and resources in terms of money which could have gone a long way to procure drugs in the country’s health facilities.

Kaliza said the Mec has already showed Malawians that it is being controlled by the MCP led government saying time is now for concerned Malawians to go to court to stop the 16th September, 2025 elections to give dialogue a chance.

“Conferences for Smartmatic machines are a waste of time and money, let Malawians in unison go to court and if the courts do not listen to us, let the MCP continue running the country as per their wishes and not hiding through an already won elections by President Chakwera,” she said.
