Limpopo FM, an online radio station has advised traditional chiefs of Machinga district not to forget that the MCP led government of President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera made them to eat wild bushes (chitedze) as food for their survival.
The radio said there have been hunger in 1949, 1981 and 1992 but people did not eat wild bushes (chitedze) as what they have seen with the MCP led government reminding them that MCP should not come to them today because the time of eating Chitedze is over.
It has asked Machinga chiefs to go to Chikoko Bay in Mangochi to dine with President Chakwera and receive the K50,000s State House is dishing to various groups of people in exchange for voter certificates which are being scanned before entering the State House.
The radios Nkhanga zaona producer Comrade Mtanyiwa, said Former President Dr. Joyce Banda was scheduled to meet Machinga chiefs on Tuesday and the news has shaken State House which in turn has invited the chiefs to go to Mangochi on the same date.
Comrade Mtanyiwa has encouraged chiefs and their Group Village Heads accompanying them to receive the K50,000s and vote out President Chakwera and his MCP government on the 16th September, 2025 elections for bringing in untold sufferings to Malawians.
He has advised madam Dr. Joyce Banda not to be disappointed with the last minute move by State House to invite all the Machinga chiefs to the State House saying this should encourage her that MCP will never bounce back into government only Smartmatic machine will vote for them not the peoples’ vote.
The Comrade has also advised Machinga chiefs to patronize the meeting they will be called by Dr. Joyce Banda after the K50,000s from the State House claiming that Dr. Joyce Banda is one of their own and has the welfare of people at heart.
“When another date is set, let us go there in our large number, she will bring a message of hope of liberating the country,” said Mtanyiwa.
On Mec rejection of independent ICT Auditors to inspect the voters’ roll, Mtanyiwa has advised opposition parties to keep on pushing for Mec leadership to respect the will of the people beside it surrounded by MCP of central region of Malawi.
He has also advised Malawians not to participate in the elections with Smartmatic machines claiming that the Mec has already decided the winner as it is working with the MCP so that its candidate bounces back into government as President of the country.
