In a dazzling night of glitz and recognition, fame Afrobeat sensation and cultural powerhouse, Tay Grin, made the nation proud once again as he bagged the prestigious ‘Excellence In Tourism and Culture Promotion Award’ at this year’s Africa Day Awards, hosted by the Diaspora Economic Forum in the United Kingdom.

The award ceremony, held last night, brought together influential figures from across the continent and the diaspora to celebrate Africa’s finest trailblazers and Tay Grin stood tall among them, waving the Malawian flag high.

Born Limbani Kalilani but fondly known as the Nyau King, Tay Grin, in his role as Malawi’s Cultural, Youth and Tourism Ambassador has been a relentless force in branding the Warm Heart of Africa as a prime destination for tourism, investment, and cultural exploration.

From international stages to elite diaspora forums, he has used his voice and platform to spotlight Malawi’s rich heritage, scenic beauty, and economic potential.

In his congratulatory statement, President Lazarus Chakwera emphasizes that Tay Grin’s contribution is more than just artistic it’s patriotic.
