Kalindo urges Malawians to pray for Malawi from 10th June, 2025

Political activist Bon Kalindo, has urged Malawians regardless of their political party affiliations to pray for Malawi from the 10th June, 2025 so that God listen to the prayers for the country not to be in the hands of evil people who are doing everything possible for them to remain in government.

Kalindo has encouraged all those that are prepared to light candles from the 10th June, 2025 not to let their candles off until the 16th September, 2025 elections when Malawians in their voices will say enough is enough with the devil for destroying the country.

He has warned chiefs, teachers, women and youth groups that are going to the State House to pocket the money in the ranges from K50,000 to K80,000 advising them not to be carries away by this money but to question for themselves that where were they before with this free for all money.

Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo has claimed that State House is using K67 billion for this 2025-2026 national budget allocation saying out of this money, some individuals are spending nights in hotels with their girlfriends with thanks to the free for all money.

Kalindo has alleged that State House is spending K40 million, K25 million per day to feed and paying for allowances to these people invited to State House at a time that the country is in hunger crisis, hospitals do not have panado and aspirin.

He said it is heartbreaking to see to it that buses, minibuses, lorries as well as Police and MDF TATAs are being used to ferry people to State House to receive the K50,000s in exchange for voter registration certificates describing this as a threat to democracy.

The activist said Malawi is a begging country but some politicians in the MCP have billions in their houses and are taking these monies corrupting people to vote for them as the country is preparing to hold the much-anticipated 16th September, 2025 elections.

“Former presidents Dr. Bakili Muluzi, Professor Bingu wa Mutharika, Dr. Joyce Banda, and Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika did not have a basket full of money to be dishing to the electorate to vote for them in a country where sugar is scarce and its price is beyond the reach of the poor,” said Kalindo.

He has advised opposition parties to open their eyes that the MCP is doing what is best for them to remain in government observing that the clear evidence is there, MCP thugs harassing, abusing, threatening and hacking people in full view of law enforcement agencies.

He has described Chakwera’s leadership as of no grace of God claiming that it is not surprising that Malawians have lost trust in him and only the Smartmatic machine will vote for him on the 16th September, 2025 elections not the peoples’ vote.

Meanwhile, Kalindo has asked Minister of Health Khumbize Kandodo-Chiponda to have an emergency visit to Bwaila Hospital in Lilongwe to appreciate the abuse pregnant women who have just given birth are being treated from Labor ward to the waiting rooms.

Kalindo said all the toilets inside the hospital are closed and these women are being forced to use toilets located outside the hospital asking the Minister to imagine a woman who has just given birth through surgical operations, this terrible situation.
