A Malawi Congress Party (MCP) diehard of Mvera in Dowa district Mr. Rodgers Kamphangala, has advised the Muluzi’s family to leave Bakili Muluzi TV alone other than having time to sue him in court saying this will bring no positive impact to the family and the nation.

Kamphangala said if Atupele Muluzi has made his informed decision to join the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) in an alliance against opposition party alliances, he is free to go, that is part of democracy reminding the family that Bakili Muluzi is not one name in Malawi.

He has reminded Malawians that Bakili Muluzi TV has been beaming online television programmes since 2016 and this was during the reign of Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika and the DPP and at no time Malawians heard that Mutharika was going to court to sue him.

The MCP diehard has also questioned the Muluzi’s family why now wanting to sue him after letting him scot-free for all the years advising the Muluzi family that their family will be treated as useless if they will go ahead to sue Bakili Muluzi TV.

In a statement circulating in various social media platforms allegedly written by UDF President Atupele Muluzi says lawyers and the family are all ready to sue Bakili Muluzi TV claiming that research to establish his full particulars, village and parents was already done and they have come to know his identities.

According to the Muluzi’s family, Bakili Muluzi TV took the family name with an aim of insulting and castigating them sent by their enemies saying they are ready to meet in a court of law for character assassination.

“We are angry and disappointed with his behavior of insulting me and Dr. Bakili Muluzi, we know he is being sent by our enemies,” quoted from the words in circulation.

Atupele Muluzi has also said that he will sue the Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) for accepting their family name to be used as Bakili Muluzi TV without permission from the Muluzi’s family, saying this is paining the family.
Kamphangala has also advised MCP Publicity Secretary Dr. Jessie Kabwila to drop the charge he is demanding K500 million as compensation from Hon. Sameer Suleiman for character assassination saying she will lose respect.

She has personally advised her to kneel down and pray before God that what her critics are saying against her be useless and glory be to the Lord for creating her and rewarded her with a ministerial position while those that are against her will never and ever taste ministerial position in government.

“You are a woman of substance, drop the charge against Suleiman, you will lose nothing, gain nothing, but the Lord will reward you, just keep praying for your enemies to see the greatness of the Lord,” said Kamphangala.
