Blue Eagles Sisters flew high on Saturday as they clinched the One Nico Central Region Top 12 Netball Tournament title with a nail-biting 45-44 win over rivals Civonets in a final that kept fans on the edge of their seats.
The tightly contested match saw both teams exchange leads throughout the four quarters, but it was a late surge from Blue Eagles that sealed the victory — and a K1 million championship prize.

Civonets, who fought valiantly, settled for second place and took home K700,000.
Young Eagles claimed the bronze after beating MDF Lioness to grab third place and a K500,000 reward, while Lioness earned K400,000. Vanessa Sisters rounded off the top five with K300,000.

As the top three teams, Blue Eagles, Civonets, and Young Eagles have secured spots at the upcoming national level competition, where they’ll battle for supremacy on an even bigger stage.
This year’s tournament proved to be a thrilling showcase of netball talent in the region — and the Blue Eagles have shown they’re ready to take their game to new heights.
