Karonga based rights activist Comrade Lytone Mangochi, has praised former President Dr. Joyce Banda for governing Malawians in the interest of all and within a very short period of time observing her work is being remembered by all Malawians.
Mangochi said Dr. Joyce Banda performed exceptionally well within 2 years wondering why she don’t phone in president Chakwera to tell him on how to run government appealing to her to tell President Chakwera to stop telling lies, Malawians are not the same as they were in 2020.
He said a woman, Dr. Joyce Banda was able to initiate development projects making Malawians feel at home claiming that fuel was readily available and this was within the two years she has been governing the country.
Speaking through a video clip from Vila Nova Frontera in Mozambique, Mangochi said President Chakwera lied to Malawians that fuel was coming into Malawi from Mozambique while knowing in his heart that it wasn’t fuel at all.
Mangochi said President Chakwera has been proved to be the most lying president and is the first one since the dawn of multiparty of democracy in 1994 saying Malawians young and old, are now aware that their president is the chief liar.
He said Malawi as a nation was built on lies by President Chakwera saying the Malawi is at the roundabout, nothing is moving beside the country having a president who don’t have the welfare of citizens at heart.
The activist said on the 16th September, 2025 elections, registered voters should remember Chakwera’s lies, none of Chakwera’s promises has been turn into a reality claiming that all of his promises have built castles in the air while on the ground, there is zero.
“Speaking that Chakwera has failed, we are being labelled as Chakwera’s critics and enemies of the state, we risk to be arrested,” said Mangochi.
He has appealed to registered voters in Malawi not to make a mistake of voting for President Chakwera observing that doing this will be voting for another painful 5 years and this will be the time of slavery as the Israelites in Egypt.
Mangochi has appealed to new leaders coming on the 16th September, 2025 to stop telling people lies claiming that there lies will follow them as evidenced with President Chakwera who has lost trust and dignity because of lies to his people.
