The leader of the AFORD party, Right Honourable Enock Kanzingeni Chihana (EKC), has arrived in Blantyre City.

Senior officials of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), including Secretary General Hon. Peter Mukhitho, Hon. Yusuf Nthenda, Hon. Mlotha, Hon. Charles Kadziwe, and many others, welcomed him.

Chihana will tomorrow attend a major rally where DPP leader Prof. Arthur Peter Mutharika and Dr. Jane Mayemu Ansah will launch a campaign aimed at persuading people to vote for the party and remove the current government from power.

Upon arriving at Chileka Airport, Chihana expressed joy at seeing DPP and AFORD supporters singing songs in praise of Prof. Arthur Peter Mutharika.

Many Malawians are ready for a change of government on September 16.

The rally will be held tomorrow at Njamba Freedom Park in Blantyre City.
