A 29-year-old woman from Mzuzu City has won a jackpot of K14.5 million on Bet Yanga’s Aviator betting competition.
Receiving her cash prize on Friday, Patricia Chirwa, who runs a grocery shop in Mchengautuwa Township, attributed her win to responsible betting, having previously won smaller prizes.
“This is a game I play responsibly, considering the hawker I run for a living in Mchengautuwa. This is a lucrative win after some smaller prizes I have won before,” Chirwa said.

“It’s not long ago when we opened doors for gaming in the northern region. We offer attractive gaming competitions for our market penetration,” Mponda said.
Mponda reminded winners and players to bet responsibly, emphasizing the importance of treating betting as entertainment.
Bet Yanga has grown in popularity since 2021, with notable winners like Lloyd Mtamula, winning K84.9 million.
