FDH Bank has reaffirmed its commitment to community development by donating K10 million to Mzuzu Lions Club as the organization celebrates 30 years of humanitarian service.
The donation was announced during a dinner and dance event in Mzuzu, where FDH Bank Chief Executive Officer, William Mpinganjira, served as guest of honour.

“The Lions Club resonates well with what we do at FDH and the causes they support. Reaching 30 years is a remarkable milestone, and we felt it wise to appreciate them for the work they are doing in serving Malawians. As a bank for the people, we believe in giving back to the communities that support us,” said Mpinganjira.
Mpinganjira also encouraged Malawians to remain determined in building an environment that supports investment and fosters national progress.
Receiving the donation, Mzuzu Lions Club’s immediate past president, Cedric Sapuwa, expressed gratitude and assured that the funds will be directed towards developmental projects in education.
“The cabinet will decide on the specific allocations, but our priority is to ensure that this support translates into meaningful impact, particularly in the education sector,” said Sapuwa.
FDH Bank continues to support initiatives that empower communities and promote sustainable development across Malawi.
