Independent parliamentary candidate for the Zambwe constituency in Chikwawa, Susan Dossi, has pledged to prioritize the rehabilitation of the Chapananga Bridge if elected.
Dossi said the bridge is a vital infrastructure that will ease transportation challenges for the people of the area.
She emphasized that once the bridge is improved, residents will be able to move easily and conduct their daily business without the difficulties they currently face.

In addition to the bridge, Dossi also committed to promoting irrigation farming in the region.
She explained that strengthening irrigation will help communities increase food production and reduce their dependence on unpredictable rainfall patterns.
Dossi made these remarks during an interview with MBC Digital.
Her campaign promises have sparked hope among local residents, who view improved infrastructure and agricultural support as key to their development.
