A voice of the voiceless citizen of Malawi Comrade Alhhaji Imraan Jumbe, has called on opposition party leaders to rethink of their strategy before the 16th September, 2025 general elections so that the future of the country can well be defined.
Comrade Jumbe says as Malawi approaches the 16th September, 2025 elections, the opposition parties have a crucial choice to make- a choice that will determine whether Malawians will experience another 5 years of hardship or not.
He appealed to the opposition parties DPP, UTM, PP, AFORD, and UDF that this is not the hour to compete for individual glory, this is not the season to fight for positions, but the very opportunity to win the trust of the people.
Writing on his face book page, Comrade Jumbe has advised opposition party leaders that this moment demands maturity, vision, and sacrifice warning them that if they remain divided, they will divide the votes observing that this will divide the hopes of millions of Malawians who are yearning for change.
Comrade Jumbe says the people cannot afford another half-decade of unmet promises, economic struggles, and lost opportunities saying true leadership is not about who wears the crown, but one who has the people’s welfare coming first.
He says this time is not about “who will become what,”-it is about building a government that puts Malawi first above party ego and personal ambition advising them to form an electoral alliance now, present a united front, speak with one voice, and contest as one movement that prioritizes the people over personalities.
“If you feel to listen to this counsel, you may one day hear it, we echoed not from one, but from the wind and the birds, a bitter reminder of an opportunity wasted,” reads Comrade Jumbe’s writings on the wall.
He says history will not forgive leaders who let pride cost the nation’s future advising opposition party leaders that they will have time- use it wisely, unite for Malawi, for the people, and for the
