Iran Claims U.S. Seeking Help From Major Powers to Secure Ceasefire
By Suleman Chitera
Iran has claimed that the United States, under President Donald Trump, is now asking major global powers including India, China, and Russia to help broker a permanent ceasefire with Iran amid the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
According to Iranian officials, the request reportedly came after the United States suffered significant financial and military losses during the confrontation. Iranian authorities claim that the U.S. lost billions of dollars in military resources as well as hundreds of troops and equipment during the escalation.
Tehran says these losses have pushed Washington to seek diplomatic assistance from other influential countries in order to halt the fighting and move toward a lasting peace agreement.

Iranian sources argue that the involvement of countries such as India, China, and Russia could play a key role in mediating negotiations and stabilizing the region if a ceasefire arrangement is reached.
However, officials in Washington have not publicly confirmed Iran’s claims regarding the request for mediation or the scale of the reported losses.
The developments come amid heightened tensions across the Middle East, where recent clashes have raised fears of a broader regional conflict involving multiple international powers.
Analysts say that if major global players become involved in mediation efforts, it could signal a shift toward diplomatic solutions after weeks of escalating military confrontation.
