The country’s Vice President Dr. Michael Usi has claimed that some people are conspiring to kill him because of what he is speaking of his fight against corruption saying if killed, he will not be eaten, he will die alone, he will be buried alone, and God will punish him alone.
Usi said today, while he is still alive, he has to do good things that after his death, people should remember his legacy as a good man saying being the Vice President of the Republic, should not make him to be clapping hands for those who are corrupt and thieves in government.
He has assured Malawians that he knows he will be arrested and once he is arrested, he will reveal not only K1 billion stolen, claiming that those in power are not clean, this is why investigating them is becoming a challenge.
The Vice President said he has chosen the path of building the country observing that forex crisis is a big problem in Malawi observing that most of the road projects have failed with money entering into the people’s pockets.
He said it is worrisome to see to it that those who are thieving in government are still wearing suits and are being saluted by police officers while they are thieves claiming that these people are untouchables, they cannot be arrested by the law.
Writing on his face book page, Dr. Usi says a lead or pilot vehicle used by his security detail has been withdrawn saying this vehicle is for the Vice President but, to his surprise, this said vehicle has been given to someone who is not Vice President.
Usi has claimed that this vehicle is for government not MCP challenging the MCP that even if they can withdraw all the vehicles so that he walks on a wheelbarrow, he will not have any problem because he was brought up driving a rim of a bicycle.
“Ine ndimadya zanga, ndilibe mlandu ndi wina aliyense but what I am against is corruption and thieving in government,” reads Dr. Usi’s writings on the wall.
Political activist Bon Kalindo, has praised Dr. Usi for telling people the rot in government advising the MCP that without Dr. Saulosi Chilima, MCP and President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera could not enter government.
Kalindo has asked Usi to beef up his security claiming that MCP are thieves and killers and they don’t deserve to be voted back into government anymore advising Usi to issue no apology, and not to resign as Vice President of the Republic of Malawi.
“President Chakwera told the nation that if he fails to run the country in two years he will resign, but till this day, he is still President of the country,” said Kalindo.
