Bakili Muluzi TV online television station. says President –Elect Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika is remaining with hours for Malawi Defense Force (MDF) soldiers to be guarding around Page House in Mangochi and Nyambadwe in Blantyre to prove to Malawians that proven leadership has come.
Bakili Muluzi TV has joined voices of people wishing President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera well calling for him to accept the results of the elections that he has been defeated honorably assuring him that he will remain with his panga wielding thugs guarding him at his residence.
He has confirmed that the country will not hold Re-Run as some Malawi Congress Party (MCP) members are expecting from their tally centre which is giving them false hopes that there can be a possibility to have a Re-Run but this will not be possible, Professor Mutharika has won with 52 percent majority win.
The television station said 4.6 million Malawians from the total registered voters voted for candidates of their choice saying 2.8 million people are the votes already counted meaning that Professor Mutharika needs 600,000 votes to reach 50 +1 percent win.
Bakili Muluzi TV said President Chakwera needs 1.4 million votes to reach 50 +1 percent a development which MCP media team from its tally centre is keeping on urging party supporters to remain calm as counting of votes is still continuing.
He said there are 1.6 million votes not counted saying out of this figure, Professor Mutharika will get over 600,000 votes while President Chakwera cannot get 1.6 million votes to reach the requirement of forcing the country to go for Re-Run.
The activist said MCP tally centre is speaking of Lilongwe Rural where total registered is 562,000 challenging President Chakwera and the MCP that even all the votes from Lilongwe Rural are given to President Chakwera, he cannot reach 1.6 million.
“Chakwera ndiwouma mutu, he could have announced his defeat for the country to remember him other than waiting for FAKE results from MCP tally centre,” said Bakili Muluzi TV.
He has made a special message to Police Inspector General Marylyn Yolamu, Dr. Kenneth Zikhale Ng’oma and Mr. Ackis Muwanga that they have hunted for him for 5 years saying time has now come for him to meet them personally that he is the one.
“Don’t run away, I will need you one by one, you have heard of Bakili Muluzi TV, he is coming at your doorsteps, i thank God that I am still alive to this day, God has provided the way,” said Bakili Muluzi TV.
Social media influencer Mneneri Joshua Chisa Mbele says Professor Mutharika has won the election because more members of the MCP deserted President Chakwera claiming that MCP NEC voted for Professor Mutharika as a punishment for the manner President Chakwera picked Engineer Vitumbiko Mumba to be his running mate.
“Mutharika has been elected not because he is smarter but on the basis that the DPP will humble itself and be less tribalism after learning the lesson in the opposition,” reads Chisa Mbele’s writings on the wall.
