Political activist Bon Kalindo has thanked the DPP led government of President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika for abolishing public secondary school fees saying this is good news to all parents, guardians and children that they have a caring government that is looking after their welfare.

Kalindo said many people gave President Professor Mutharika benefit of doubt that he will not implement free secondary school education and many have been speaking on top of their voices in various social media platforms taking the matter as a lie.

He said President Professor Mutharika has proved for himself that what he promises becomes a reality contrary to the many wishes of his critics who were praying a failure of the promise for Malawians to label Professor Mutharika a liar only taking the people as a ladder to vote for him into government.

Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo has claimed that if there is something that most parents are finding problems in their everyday life situations, is school fees claiming that some families have two or three children at a secondary school and all demand payment of school fees.

Kalindo has hailed the free secondary school education as a good program which if it was rolled out years back, Malawi could have well educated children by today claiming that a country which has well-educated people, is a rich country.

He has prayed to the Almighty God to give more years of life to President Professor Mutharika so that in the future years from now, public universities be free as was during the reign of Ngwazi Dr. Hastings Kamuzu Banda and his Malawi Congress Party (MCP).

“Opportunity has been granted for free secondary school education, those who will not go to school, the problem is theirs,” said Kalindo.

He has expressed his grave concern over frequent electricity blackout in the country saying all this is being made for Malawians to shoulder the blame on the DPP and President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika that he has failed to govern the country.

The activist has suspected some individuals at ESCOM sabotaging government advising the DPP to sweep all that are sabotaging government in Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs)warning government that failure to act now, is like digging a big trench to fall by themselves.

Kalindo has finally reminded politicians of the ruling party in government that the positions they are holding today, are temporary case in point is President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and his ministers that today, they are all ordinary people like Kalindo.
