A Giving Hand Foundation is a dedicated charity organisation in Malawi committed to serving the spiritual and social needs of underserved Muslim communities. Our work focuses on building masjids, introducing madrasas, and supporting various charity and humanitarian initiatives across the country.

Our fellow Muslims across Malawi have reached out to us asking for support to help them build proper praying houses — mosques — in various remote communities.

In many areas, Muslims continue to pray in temporary shelters, unfinished structures, or outdoors without proper facilities. These communities dream of having a masjid they can proudly call their own — a place for prayer, unity, learning, and community development.

Our Work So Far

Through our social programs, we have already reached out to communities in Salima, Lilongwe, and Mangochi, distributing relief food items, clothing, praying robes, and prayer mats.

We are also providing ongoing support to Muslim inmates in all prisons across the Central Region, helping restore dignity and spiritual growth among incarcerated brothers.
