Bakili online television station says Malawians last hope is on Minister of Justice Hon. Charles Mhango who has a huge task on his table to tell the nation on the fresh inquiry surrounding the tragic death of Dr. Saulosi Chilima and eight others, in the Chikangawa forest on 10th June, 2024.

The TV online station has reminded Hon. Mhango that Malawians on the 16th September, 2025 elections voted for Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika for one reason, fresh inquiry on the plane crash that claimed the lives of Dr. Chilima and eight others.

He said during the loss of Dr. Chilima and eight others, Malawi was not at war, it could have sent the battalion of soldiers into the Chikangawa forest to rescue the lives of Dr. Chilima and eight others, but President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera did not do that allowing Dr. Chilima to spend 24 hours in the cold.

The activist has advised Mhango that as he is sitting, eating, and chatting with his friends and relatives, he should know that Malawian eyes are on him as Minister responsible for justice and Malawians are expecting nothing but justice to be seen on Chilima’s death.

Just recently, Madam Mary Nkhamanyachi Chilima, wife of the departed Vice President Dr. Saulosi Chilima posted a food for thought on her face book page that one year and six months have gone mourning Dr. Chilima and they are still mourning.

“Imfa yowawa, yovuta kufotokoza, a painful death difficult to explain,” reads Madam Chilima’s writings on the wall.

Bakili Muluzi TV has expressed his deep concern over unrealistic injunctions court judges are issuing saying these injunctions are frustrating Malawians that have ended up labelling the country’s courts as rotten, corrupt and compromise.

He said Army Generals and Police commissioners who were defending MCP panga wielding thugs to be terrorizing and hacking innocent people were granted an injunction stopping government from redeploying them to other security institutions.

The activist has claimed that all the 17 MCP panga wielding thugs who were answering charges of committing criminal activities in Lilongwe and other surrounding places, were granted court bail to the dismay of millions of Malawians labelled some court judges as working with the MCP.

“The very same court issuing injunctions stopping the police from arresting and re arresting MCP panga wielding thugs was quiet when Norman Chisale and Bon Kalindo were being subjected to torture suffering arrests and re arrests,” he said.

He has encouraged the new government of the DPP never to get tired of these judges who are seeming to be working with the MCP but to continue working for the good of Malawians praying that court judges will have their senses back to deliver justice in the interest of all.
