Blantyre Adventist Hospital (BAH) has been awarded a prestigious 5-star accreditation by the Health Service Accreditation in Southern Africa (Cohsasa), scoring an impressive 98% of required health standards.
This milestone solidifies BAH’s position as a leading healthcare provider in Malawi.
“We’re delighted to have achieved this recognition,” said Kirby Kasinja, Chief Executive Officer of BAH. “Patient satisfaction is our top priority, and we ensure that patient care and treatment are always our focus.
When a patient needs help, we take immediate action to meet those needs – that’s how we’ve reached these exceptional standards.”
BAH underwent rigorous assessment in areas such as patient safety, patient-centered care, equity, and effectiveness. Since initiating the accreditation process in 2021, the hospital has consistently demonstrated excellence.
“This accreditation isn’t just a badge; it’s a testament to our team’s dedication to delivering world-class healthcare,” Kasinja added.
