Tension gripped Parliament this afternoon after Speaker Sameer Suleman announced that an unidentified individual had allegedly dropped a “charm” inside the chamber.
The unexpected announcement caused immediate commotion among Members of Parliament and staff, with murmurs spreading across the House as proceedings briefly stalled.
Suleman told the House that the suspected charm was instilling fear among parliamentary staff working within the chamber. He urged whoever was responsible to step forward and collect the item, emphasizing the need to restore calm and order.
