MCP propagandist thanks Kabambe for attending Eid Mubarak prayers

Malawi Congress Party ( MCP) Chief Propagandist Dickson ” Ndiope Ndani?” Kashoti, has thanked UTM President Dr. Dalitso Kabambe for joining Muslims at Chinsapo in Lilongwe for the Eid Mubarak prayers.

Kashoti said this how things should be with or without elections, politicians should always behave the same.

He said other politicians have today on Eid Mubarak coiled into their comfort zones, Dr. Kabambe saw this to be a good day of joining Muslims after the Holy month of Ramadan fasting

The prayers in Chinsapo township were held at ASUM Mvunguti Masjid, Dr. Kabambe joined the prayers accompanied by other UTM officials.

” Other politicians will come out of their political cocoons in 2029 carrying the Cross on Easter,” said Kashoti.

Many business shops were closed in Lilongwe and surrounding places as the owners who are Muslims joined fellow Muslims in praying to Allah for the abundant blessings.

President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika and the First Lady Madam Getrude Mutharika have wished all Muslims in Malawi a joyous day and joining Mutharika is Speaker of the National Assembly Sameer Suleman who has wished all Muslims the values of discipline, charity and spiritual devotion they have practiced continue to inspire unity, and compassion across the nation.

The President Bantu Saunders Jumah and the Secretary General of Muvi wa Chilungamo Revolutionary Party ( MRP) Bishop Greyson Mikuwa, have extended their warmest wishes to all Muslims as they are celebrating this blessed occasion on Eid- Ul- fitr.

Jumah and Mikuwa have wished the day to bring peace, unity, and prosperity to all families and communities.

“Mindset Change- Together for justice, unity and progress,” reads MRPs Eid Mubarak message.

On his part, Leader of Opposition in Parliament Simplex Chithyola Banda said today Muslims stand united as one Ummah, sharing joy prayers and reward their good deeds.
