Imperial Motors has expanded its lineup with the launch of three new vehicle models: the fully electric GWM ORA, the GWM Tank 300, and the HAVAL GT. The official unveiling took place at the company’s Blantyre offices, with a presentation by Imperial Motors General Manager, Theodore Katandula, who highlighted the company’s commitment to meeting evolving customer demands.
The GWM ORA, an electric model priced at K65 million, is a significant addition that aims to provide an alternative amid Malawi’s ongoing fuel challenges. “We have sufficient stock of these vehicles for our customers,” Katandula assured, emphasizing the company’s readiness to meet demand as the interest in electric vehicles grows in Malawi.
The launch drew a notable crowd, including prominent business figure Thomson Mpinganjira and his wife, Triephonia Mpinganjira, who had the honor of unveiling the GWM Tank 300.
With these new offerings, Imperial Motors is positioning itself to cater to Malawians looking for both luxury and environmentally friendly options, aligning with a broader trend of sustainable and advanced vehicle solutions in the global market.
