DPP Southern Region to host Fundraising Dinner with Mutharikas

By Burnett Munthali

The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Southern Region is set to host a prestigious Fundraising Dinner at the Golden Peacock Hotel on November 16, 2024. The event promises to be an evening of networking, reflection, and reaffirmation of the DPP’s commitment to Malawi’s progress, with a special focus on its journey towards restoring strong and proven leadership for the nation.

The dinner will be graced by His Excellency Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika, the former President of Malawi, and Madam Getrude Mutharika, as key guests. Their attendance underscores the DPP’s continued dedication to building on its legacy of leadership, with a clear vision for Malawi’s future.

As the party charts its course back to power, this fundraising event offers an opportunity for party supporters, business leaders, and well-wishers to engage directly with the Mutharikas and strengthen the bonds of unity and support for the DPP’s mission. It’s a night to celebrate the party’s principles of Chitukuko (development), Chitetezo (security), and Chilungamo (justice), and to honor the work done under the leadership of Professor Mutharika during his time in office.

Attendees will have the chance to connect with influential figures within the party and discuss the future of the DPP, which aims to return Malawi to a state of effective governance and prosperous growth. The event promises to be more than just a fundraiser; it will be a memorable evening for those who believe in the vision of proven leadership that the DPP offers.
