Blantyre, Malawi – September 15, 2025 – In a dazzling display of customer appreciation, FDH Bank plc has handed over two brand-new Volkswagen Golf 7 GTI vehicles to lucky winners of its highly popular Vaa Vaa Vroom Promotion. The handover ceremony took place on Monday in Blantyre, marking yet another milestone for the Malawi Stock Exchange-listed bank.

Speaking during the event, FDH Bank plc Senior Marketing Manager Ronald Chimchere said the promotion was designed to reward loyal customers who continue to embrace the bank’s innovative digital platforms.
“We said at the beginning of this promotion that what we wanted is to reward some of our customers, and we are happy to see that we have got two of our customers who are happy today to walk away with their two cars,” Chimchere said.
He highlighted that apart from the grand car prizes, the promotion also offered multiple cash rewards to customers who carried out transactions using FDH Bank’s digital services.

Originally, in August 2025, two women—Eunice Liwewe and Jamillah Mawazo—were announced as winners. However, following a verification process conducted under the supervision of the Malawi Gaming and Lotteries Authority, a re-draw was held for the second vehicle. This resulted in Banda being named the rightful winner, further underlining FDH Bank’s commitment to fairness and transparency.
