President of the poor people in Malawi activist Bob Kalindo, has advised Vice President of the Republic Justice Dr. Jane Ansah SC to open her eyes very wide saying there are ghost workers in her office drawing government salaries out of doing no service to government.

Kalindo said the office of the Human Resources is accommodating ghost workers alleging that there are two people in the office who are corrupt and every month these workers gave them a share of their salaries.

He said these ghost workers tend to report for duties in the morning and later disappears while others pretend to be working while they are busy playing Bawo at the car park claiming that government is losing billions of Kwachas every month through paying ghost workers.

Speaking through an audio clip, Kalindo has alertedJustice Dr. Jane Ansah SC that her predecessor in the office Dr. Michael Usi invited all staff to come to a meeting saying he was alarmed to see a group of people that do not deserve to be in the Office of the Vice President.

Kalindo said if Dr. Usi was still Vice President in the office, he would have exposed all the corruption syndicate saying time has now come for Justice Dr. Jane Ansah SC to expoze this syndicate to the public and to bring to book all these corrupt officers.

He said it is not surprising hearing reports that the new government of the DPP has ordered a stop to employing new people after alarmed by the wage bill claiming that a lot of resources are being spent to people doing nothing in government.

“Madam Vice President Justice Dr. Jane Ansah SC the ball is in your hands, check the Human Resources office and discover this racket,” said Kalindo.

He has again advised the new government that the fertilizer and food distribution exercise government is implementing need to be handled with care saying it is a good exercise but many people are crying in the villages.

The activist said each and every passing day he is receiving phone calls of ghost villages which are being created so that when the fertilizer comes, they should collect it and share it with their chiefs and agricultural advisors.

He said everywhere across the country, there are cries of people warning government that if this program continues, the good impact which President Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika is expecting, will not be seen only insults and castigations to be directed against him.

Kalindo has lamented that most of the elected officials Ministers and Members of Parliament (MPs) phones are off advising them that not all phone calls that comes to them are for begging money but some are for tip offs of what is happening in their offices.
