A voice of the voiceless citizen of Malawi Comrade Alhaji Imraan Jumbe, says the elections to be held on the 16th September, 2025 is about choosing whether Malawi will be remembered as a nation that defended life, or a nation that sided with death.
Comrade Jumbe has claimed that when the United Nations asked the world to choose between peace and war, between justice and massacre, President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera and his Malawi Congress Party (MCP) chose shame.
He says President Chakwera stood with Israel, with the oppression, with the killers of innocent men, women, and children in Gaza saying President Chakwera chose the path of blood, and now he wants Malawians to follow him into the darkness.
Speaking through his face book page, Comrade Jumbe, has asked Malawians to look at Gaza, babies are starving while the world is watching, young people are being shot while queuing for food, and families being burned alive under the rubble.
Comrade Jumbe says the MCP is standing with those who are causing this suffering, warning Malawians that if they vote for MCP again, the citizens will share in this guilt, saying this election is their moment of justice, advising Malawians that voting for MCP is voting for massacre.
He said electing President Chakwera back into power is rewarding betrayal, advising Malawians not to make the mistake of voting for President Dr. Lazarus Chalkwera and his MCP again, warning them that to do so, is to bless genocide, approve bloodshed, and to betray both Malawi and humanity.
“This election is the punishment, is the verdict, is our answer to President Chakwera, let us bury MCP in the dust of history, let us raise a new government that stands for human rights, for the oppressed, for justice, and for the honor of Malawi,” reads Comrade Jumbe’s writings on the wall.
He has appealed to patriotic Malawians that the time is now, the ballot is their weapon, with it they must punish President Chakwera and his MCP that enough is enough for bringing untold sufferings to Malawians and never and ever again for the MCP to come back.
