Malawi Congress Party (MCP) members in the diaspora have donated food items worth K2 million to patients at Mzimba District Hospital as one way of celebrating Christmas with the less privileged.
After presenting the donation, a representative of the network in Malawi, Dyson Chikolera, said MCP members in the diaspora are an important resource to Malawi.
”Considering that Malawians living in diaspora are more exposed to different opportunities, they are an important resource to this country and they have shown commitment to continuing supporting the country,” said Chikolera.
In her remarks, District Nursing and Midwifery Officer at Mzimba District Hospital, Atisiya Clara Mwase, said the food items will supplement the food the hospital provides
