Former Member of Parliament for Lilongwe Mpenu and Secretary General, Eisenhower Mkaka, has assured President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera that all the people in Lilongwe and Lilongwe Mpenu, will vote for him and Malawi Congress Party (MCP) MPs and councilors.
Mkaka said Lilongwe is expected to give him more votes claiming that people are satisfied with his leadership and they have agreed to maintain President Chakwera and the MCP in government for continued development in the country.
Speaking during a whistle-stop rally which was addressed by President Chakwera at Matapila trading centre on Monday, Mkaka said it is paining the MCP to see Dr. Michael Usi and his political party-Odyazake Alibe Mulandu attacking President Chakwera and the MCP.
Mkaka said what is paining most of the people is that Dr. Usi was chosen by President Chakwera through Gods guidance and today, he is out of the party talking nonsense saying all of what Dr. Usi is speaking is paining MCP as a party.
He claimed that for all the time, Dr. Usi has been attending Cabinet meeting, he kept himself quiet and today, he is speaking negative remarks against the MCP saying all of what Dr. Usi is speaking is destroying the good image of President Chakwera and the MCP in the eyes of voters.
The former MCP Secretary General has assured Odyazake Alibe Mulandu Dr. Usi that people of Lilongwe Mpenu eat the fruits of MCP and President Chakwera saying the MCP will not continue allowing him to be speaking nonsense against President Chakwera.
“What he is saying, it is paining us and we will not allow him here, may be in other areas, as a party, we cannot be sitting down and watch Dr. Usi destroying you,” said Mkaka.
Ever since Dr. Usi came out of the MCP led government led under President Chakwera, he has been speaking courageously that there is rampant corruption in the MCP government challenging it to take him to court to prove him guilty.
But, Dr. Usi has been complaining that instead of government responding to his allegations, the MCP is the one responding it as if it is government itself assuring it that he will continue speaking against corruption until such individuals practicing it, stops.
Reports are indicating that assassins are following Dr. Usi to eliminate his life for his assurance to continue speaking against those who are at the helm of corruption in government and the culprits are doing everything possible to silence him through an early grave.
Eisenhower Mkaka has become the second MCP high-ranking official to speak against the conduct of the Vice President Dr. Usi after MCP Publicity Secretary Dr. Jessie Kabwila who asked Dr. Usi to resign from government.
