QMAM Calls For Unity And Peace

Qadriah Association of Malawi (QMAM) has called for Unity of purpose and peaceful co-existence among all religions and diverse culture.

Grand National Mufti for QMAM Muhammad Jaliya Deya says unity is paramount especialy this time when the country is sailing through economic crisis as well as preparing for the 2025 general elections.

Mufti Deya made the call on Sunday during a “Unity in Islam Meeting” in Mangochi.

” We need to unite and live peacefully and co-exist despite our religious, political and or cultural spheres of life, lets stand up and encourage unity,” he said.

Wellington Mangulenje, Qadriah Muslims Association of Malawi Trustee member, described unity as a vehicle for development of any Country.

Recently President Lazarus Chakwera during his Easter message emphasized the importance of Unity for National Development.
