Youths Are Addicted To Drugs

Drug and substance abuse is still a growing problem among the youth and deteriorating their mental health.

This is according to officials at St. John of God Hospital in Lilongwe.
Hospital authorities have since pointed out that young people are resorting to drug and substance abuse as a substitute to a lack of parental care, failed relationships, gambling among others.

Tabitha Dzoole who is the facility’s Coordinator for Addiction Recovery Services has since called on parents to consider monitoring their children in order to avoid ruining their future.
