The Burundi Business Community, operating in Nkhotakota district, has donated 100 bags of cement and 75 tons of sand to the Nkhotakota District Council, to assist in the Chigumula Community Ground Construction Project which is underway.
Chairperson for the business operators, Jonathan Macumi, says the support is vital, as it shows that the community is fully involved in developmental activities being implemented in the district.

Member of Parliament for Nkhotakota Central Constituency, Peter Mazizi and Director of Planning and Development at Nkhotakota District Council, Allick Munthali, said the ground shall assist in promoting sporting activities in the district , as well as improving revenue collection for the council.
The materials donated will be used in the construction works of the dressing room at the facility.
